Breaking News.... Fish & Chip Friday 6 -9 pm - Dine in or Takeaway! Friday Menu   WE ARE OPEN AND LOOKING FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK  Firstly, thankyou to everyone who supported us during our first full week of re-opening. These are strange times but we are so happy to be returning to a little bit of normality.  As I’m sure you are aware, we have had to make a few changes to ensure the safety of both our staff and customers, but don’t let this put you off – we still have refreshing cold beer on tap and our fantastic chef Andy who is all ready to cook up some delicious dishes for you to enjoy.  We keep very high standards of cleanliness here at the Eight Bells, even more so in the current climate, so have introduced hand sanitising stations throughout the premises both inside and out for staff and customer use. Our toilets will be cleaned and sanitised at regular intervals with anti-bacterial wipes in every toilet for customer use before and after touching surfaces.  There will be one door to enter the pub and one to exit to avoid crossing paths and reduced tables to keep to the 1 metre rule.  All of our staff will be wearing face visors and Perspex screens have been installed in our outside bar for further protection.  We encourage the use of contactless cards wherever possible to minimise the handling of cash but understand that this is not always possible so will accept cash if necessary.  We also ask that you call us to book a table even if you are just coming in for a drink as unfortunately sitting at the bar is a no go, as is ‘vertical drinking’ – all drinks must be consumed sat down at a table to comply with government guidelines.  There are a few nice changes too including a brand new umbrella canopy on our decking, and newly refurbished bells!  We are so looking forward to welcoming you back to The Eight Bells – we’ve missed you!  Sas, David, Mollie, Belle and The Eight Bells Team  Our Opening hours are: Pub: 12-10pm every day Food: Monday – Thursday Restaurant 12 -3pm and 6 - 9 pm Friday : Restaurant 12- 3pm - Fish and Chips (takeaway and dine in) 6 - 9 pm Saturday: Restaurant 12 – 8  Sunday (Roasts & Light Bites): 12 – 4  MAIN MENU DESSERT MENU SUNDAY ROAST MENU   PIZZA TAKEAWAY HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR AUGUST  To comply with social distancing, please give us a call, place your order and we will allocate a time slot for you to pick up your pizza  PIZZA MENU NOT AVAILABLE AUGUST FRIDAY MENU  The Eight Bells  The Street, Bolney, Haywards Heath, RH17 5QW 01444 881396  Sas, David, Mollie and Belle the Chocolate Labrador Pup.  All major debit/credit cards accepted.  We also have Wine, Bottled Beer, Cider, Spirits, Soft drinks and takeaway hot drinks available - Please call for details
