The Eight Bells at Bolney has recently changed ownership
In order to provide an ongoing quality service, it has become necessary to temporarily close the restaurant until 1st December. The bar areas will be open as normal . Breakfast will still be available for B+B guests and we will be offering a range of snacks at the bar. We apologise for any inconvenience this essential closure may cause
Named after the characteristic feature of the Parish Church, The Eight Bells freehouse is a true village pub, serving local ales and wines.
Family owned and run, at The Eight Bells we pride ourselves on a wide menu, the majority of which is made on the premises, freshly cooked to order. The chefs are always willing to accommodate any special dietary requirements.
Family friendly, with a non-smoking outside decked area and childrens play section, there is also baby changing and disabled access/facilities.
We are also pet friendly, and welcome dogs into The Eight Bells.
Nestled neatly at the southerly end of Bolney’s historic village street, The Eight Bells is close to Hickstead, Wakehurst Place, and conveniently placed for Brighton and Gatwick.
The Eight Bells is well known for its traditional full English breakfasts, pub lunches, and fantastic evening meals. We can cater for special diets and intolerances such as gluten or dairy, so please do ask, we are happy to help. We also have a comprehensive takeaway menu.
